RICARDO D. TORRES O.T.

Ricardo D. Torres, OTR, is a licensed Occupational Therapist and Regional Rehab Director with Regency Integrated Healthcare. He oversees rehabilitation services across 10 skilled nursing facilities throughout the Rio Grande Valley, providing clinical leadership and operational oversight to interdisciplinary rehab teams.

Ricardo’s career in occupational therapy has spanned both adult and pediatric care, with significant experience in mental health services and functional rehabilitation. His background includes serving as Director of Rehabilitation at South Texas Health System’s Edinburg Regional Rehab Center, as well as leadership roles within multiple pediatric rehab agencies in the region.

With a strong foundation in healthcare administration and service delivery, Ricardo is a vocal advocate for preventative education models and a whole-family approach to care. He believes in breaking down barriers to access by promoting coordinated, inter-agency collaboration across medical, mental health, and rehabilitation services.

Ricardo is committed to improving systems of care in the Rio Grande Valley and envisions a future where comprehensive, integrated services are readily available to all who need them.
