Regional Data Coordinator

Job Description:

Join us as a Regional Data Coordinator and become a vital driver of data excellence across our organization. In this dynamic role, you will lead regional data management initiatives, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of critical data assets. Your work will help teams make informed decisions by leading data collection efforts, connecting partners to the right resources, and turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee regional data collection processes, ensuring high-quality and timely data acquisition from diverse sources across Region 11 of South Texas.
  • Conduct and attend meetings with community stakeholders to raise awareness and generate support to enhance data collection efforts within the region.
  • Coordinate and complete data entry from quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection into Excel or other software.
  • Provide technical assistance to community stakeholders in relation to data collection efforts.
  • Create annual data products such as a Regional Needs Assessment and share with stakeholders through diverse formats.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences preferred or related field, or at least 5 years’ experience and coursework in statistics, research methods, and program evaluation.
  • Current Texas driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance are required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Prevention Education Specialist

Job Description:

  • Conduct prevention education and skills training strategies by implementing the assigned curriculum at designated school sites and/or community sites as indicated by the curriculum developers.
  • Provide problem identification and referrals to other support services for youth participating in curriculum services.
  • Conduct information dissemination strategies by increasing knowledge and changing attitudes through engaging presentations for youth and adults.
  • Build relationships with diverse community partners.
  • Conduct positive alternatives in the form of fun, challenging, and structured activities to foster constructive and healthy ways to enjoy free time and learn skills among the community of service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, or equivalent.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of participants/professionals in English and Spanish.

Program Specialist

Job Description:

  • Conduct ongoing quality assurance reviews of substance misuse prevention and intervention programs to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct documentation reviews and satisfaction survey data analysis to assess fidelity and effectiveness.
  • Collect, analyze, and report program performance data, including outcomes and participation rates.
  • Maintain accurate and timely quality assurance documentation, reports, and records to support internal reporting and external compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to program staff related to QA tools to strengthen service delivery and improve adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide program support by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and conducting client follow-ups.

Requirements:

  • Minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent; 2 years of experience in administrative and support roles.
  • Must have reliable transportation as travel is required.

Community Health Worker

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach and networking efforts that directly impact the target population residing in the service area.
  • Conduct presentations targeting individuals with a history of trauma, substance use, mental health concerns, and those at high risk for developing behavioral health conditions.
  • Raise awareness of services and ensure participants have access to resources, referrals, and appropriate screening to identify high-risk and intervention needs.
  • Write, complete, and establish Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with community sites and social service agencies that serve the target population within the service area.
  • Collaborate and visit with partner agencies to identify potential barriers that may be encountered by participants needing program services.
  • Screen individuals identified during outreach or referred to the program to initiate supportive services and/or provide referrals as needed.
  • Facilitate appropriate interventions, referral needs, and support services aligned with the evidence-based curriculums used by the program.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in social services, networking with social service agencies, or working with at-risk populations in the community or schools.
  • Traveling required within the service area.
  • Current Texas driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Intervention Specialist

Job Description:

  • Conduct outreach and networking efforts that directly impact the target population residing in the service area.
  • Conduct presentations targeting individuals with a history of trauma, substance use, mental health concerns, and those at high risk for developing behavioral health conditions.
  • Raise awareness of IHCP services and provide accessible resources and referrals for participants needing support.
  • Provide appropriate screenings to identify high-risk participants and intervention needs.
  • Screen individuals identified during outreach or referred to the program to initiate supportive services and/or provide referrals as needed.
  • Visit participants and families in appropriate locations, including public areas such as libraries, community centers, churches, the office, or through home visits, to explain supportive services and available resources.
  • Conduct follow-ups with participants who have received referrals by the program through in-person, virtual, or telephonic methods within the required time.

Recovery Supervisor

Job Description:

  • Supervise the assigned teams of recovery coaches by (a) Conducting monthly/weekly team and individual meetings to reinforce and review program goals and objectives. (b) Oversee the daily work schedules and completed duties by program staff. (c) Provide support as needed across teams to ensure recovery support services are being rendered in accordance to the program contract.
  • Prepares reports in collaboration with team members and submits reports, including status reports, to the Divisional Director within required timelines. Assists quality efforts by providing access and gathering documents related to program outputs.
  • Monitors the program outputs to ensure efforts are on track towards meeting contract goals and outcomes.
  • Apply outreach and networking efforts that directly impact the target population of the program to include (a) conducting presentations targeting individuals with a history or current use of substances and needing support services. (b) develop and disseminate project related information and material to target population and identified providers, caregivers, and family members.

  • Apply outreach and networking efforts in the hub region to increase the awareness and utilization of the statewide overdose reversal medication distribution and overdose prevention and response training programs, including among businesses, providers, healthcare services (e.g., EMS, emergency rooms), educational institutions, and individuals.
  • Fulfill all in-person overdose reversal medication orders received on a timely manner, that meets contract requirements, upon request.
  • Provide approved virtual or in person overdose response and prevention training to all individuals who received overdose reversal medication in-person from the hub, including collection of pre/post test scores for each trained individual.
  • Provide approved fentanyl awareness and education to requesting individuals and educational institutions in the hub region, including collection of pre/post test scores for each trained individual.
