McAllen unveils Community Tool Shed
Wow, what a great resource for McAllen residents!
If you’ve been following along with our Let’s Talk Prevention series, you can use these tools to practice some of the family-friendly gardening topics, like using native plants to attract butterflies and pollinators!
Gardening projects are also great opportunities to bond with children and teach them responsibility and caring for the environment, as well as practical skills and how to properly use and care for tools.
The McAllen Community Tool Shed is now available to McAllen residents. The resource will aid individuals who don’t have the tools to maintain and beautify their property. Residents can borrow tools for 72 hours.
